The executive president of the National Electricity Corporation (ENDE Corporation), Marco Antonio Escobar, reported that the country has a surplus of 1,400 Megawatts (MW) of electrical energy ready for the industrialization of the country, since it has an installed capacity of 3,000 MW and internal demand is around 1,600 MW. “The demand today was seeing that it has reached 1,600 MW. Our installed capacity is 3,000 MW. Then, these surpluses are ready to be able to industrialize the country ”, he asserted, in an interview on the state channel’s“ Primer Plano ”program.
