UNICOM/ENDE TRANSMISIÓN: Minister of Hydrocarbons and Energies inspects the solar panels that ENDE Transmisión has in its building for electricity consumption

The Minister of Hydrocarbons and Energies, Franklin Molina Ortiz, paid a visit to the ENDE Transmisión company, a subsidiary of ENDE Corporación, with the aim of learning about the photovoltaic system that it has in its central building in the city of Cochabamba for the consumption of electric power.

On the occasion the Minister indicated that “as a result of the measures applied by the Ministry of Hydrocarbons and Energies, among which the Austerity Policy established for all the subsidiaries and affiliates of the National Electricity Company (ENDE) can be indicated, an increase in net profits that will go from 767 million Bolivianos obtained in 2020, to a figure of more than 1,000 million Bolivianos projected for the 2021 management ”.

“The increase in the profits of the 2021 management compared to the previous year would be 41%. This achievement will allow the delivery of greater resources to the General Treasury of the Nation for the benefit of all Bolivians, ”said the Minister.

The photovoltaic system that is located on the terrace of the offices and on the roofs of the ENDE Transmisión warehouse buildings, occupies a total area of 1,300 m2, is made up of 667 modules, whose peak installed power is 180 kWp, which work in parallel automatically and synchronized with the network of the distribution company ELFEC.

Through Supreme Decree 4477 on Distributed Generation and its regulations, it is allowed to inject all excess energy into the network of distribution companies, in this case ELFEC, since the ENDE Transmisión system has equipment that allows this operation.

The objective of this photovoltaic system is to promote energy efficiency projects and reinforce the commitment to caring for the environment, since solar panels generate clean electrical energy and replace a significant part of its current consumption, helping to optimize energy use. , with the aim of minimizing CO2 emissions and consequently, the environmental impact.
