UNICOM/ENDE TRANSMISIÓN: ENDE TRANSMISIÓN CULMINATES RISK PREVENTION PROGRAM IN RURAL AREAS OF THE COUNTRY
Fulfilling one of its social responsibility objectives, Ende Transmission, a subsidiary of Ende Corporation, culminated in October the educational program “Together we transmit energy”, in schools in the rural and peri -urban area of the country, whose objective is to provide information that allows possibleThe understanding of the operation of the electrical system in Bolivia and that also allows to raise awareness about the care that both children and adults must have in relation to electricity and high voltage towers.
The development of this educational program that was carried out in the departments Beni, Potosí, Sucre, Tarija, Oruro, Cochabamba, Santa Cruz and La Paz, managed to benefit more than 140 educational units of the national territory, 10,000 students and 600 teachers ofdirectly, as well as parents and people from these communities indirectly.
The company performs this activity 19 years ago in the rural areas of Bolivia, because it considers vital importance of the dissemination of educational information about a service that is essential for the development of the country such as electrical energy.
