The SAN JOSÉ Substation is part of the Troncal Interconnection System (STI), for this reason “to guarantee the continuity and reliability of the autotransformers within the STI it is vital that all units are 100% operational to 100% of their capacity and forWe are doing this maintenance, ”said the company’s general manager, Ing. “These works began from the 2021 management with the maintenance of the first unit and during the 2022 management the maintenance of two other units was carried out.It is planned to conclude with the latest unit for management 2023, completing the major maintenance of the four units that make up the T31 autotransformer bank, ”added the manager.

All the work of disassembly, maintenance and assembly, were carried out in the Ende Transmission Transformers Workshop in the city of Cochabamba, by national technical personnel belonging to the Company Operations and Maintenance Management, demonstrating the proper preparation available toThis type of highly qualified jobs.
