UNICOM ENDE 6-9-2023.- As part of the annual high-line maintenance program tension, the National Electricity Company (Ende Corporation), concluded different civil works to throughout the La Angostura Transmission Line – Bermejo 115 Kilovolts (KV), with the objective of guarantee the stability of high voltage towers and the continuity of the energy supply electric to important locations from the department of Tarija.

The works consisted of the construction of gavions with cement soil, stone gavions, Talus protection with reinforced geomant concrete, among other civil works, which will avoid any type damage to structures by landslides and erosion of the land, taking into account that the rainy season is approaching.

The transmission line travels the population of Angostura to the town of Bermejo and is from vital importance for the region, since it connects to Bermejo to the national interconnected system (SIN).

The work of civil works in this line have different levels of difficulty, since their line It presents a diverse orography, crossing mountains, mountain foot, plains and caudalous rivers.

In addition to these civil works, the correct functioning of all the Transmission line components transporting high voltage electricity for Department of Tarija.

Ende Corporation will continue working to strengthen the Bolivian electrical system regarding High voltage transport.
