Within the annual programming and in the process of improving old facilities, there is transmission, Ende Corporation filial, performing the telecontrol system of the substation Beautiful valley.

One of the main objectives was to replace the remote terminal unit (RTU) with 15 years of antiquity;The replacement included telecontrol equipment, transducers, self -supporting boards, change of multipares and others.

Thanks to the hard work and performance of technical staff, the new and modern telecontrol system was in service on November 24, 2023. The implemented RTU is of the Schweitzer Model Axion Sel-2240, modular and with a variety of communication protocols available so that the system of control goes from being conventional to a hybrid control system, where the wiring can be maintained conventional, but also has the possibility of using IEC61850 communication protocols, DNP3 TCP, Modbus TCP, SNMP, Irig-B, HMI, among others.

To optimize the project architecture, analog transducers were replaced by digital, of that way the transfer of information to the SCADA system of analog signals of all the Transmission lines that converge in this substation.

This new and modern telecontrol system allows to meet the growing demand of the sector, thus strengthening the capacity and availability of electric power supply for the benefit of The families that inhabit the Bolivian territory.
