    PROJECTS IN EXECUTION

    The investment budget of ENDE Transmission S.A. approved by the Board of Directors, formulated with the purpose of expanding and strengthening the transmission network in the National Interconnected System (SIN), includes for the 2021 management the execution of 10 transmission projects according to established schedules, considering that the completion dates of They are planned for the next steps in accordance with the Medium Term Programming in the National Interconnected System (2021-2025).

    PROJECT DESCRIPTION
    SECOND TERNA ENLARGEMENT BELGIUM TRANSMISSION LINE – LOS TRONCOS

    In order to improve the transport capacity of the line, enable the reinforcement of the energy supply to the city of Trinidad and in the future allow the connection with the north of the Amazon, it was necessary to lay the second triple of the Existing Belgium – Los Troncos line, 98.78 km long, with the installation of two AAAC FLINT 740.8 MCM type aluminum conductors per phase and insulators. It also includes the corresponding extensions to the Belgium and Trunks substations.

    EXTENSION OF THE SAN JOSÉ – SANTIVAÑEZ PROJECT

    The project includes the construction of the Santivañez II 230 kV substation and the expansion of the existing Santivañez substation, connected by a short line, in which two different 230 kV sections are handled; a first aerial section of 360 meters and another underground section of 410 meters.

    The project will allow the connection of the 230 kV network with the new 500 kV network, through two 230 kV lines to connect the 230 kV bars of Santivañez II with the bars of the existing Santivañez substation.

    500 kV CARRASCO – SANTIVAÑEZ TRANSMISSION LINE AND ASSOCIATED SUBSTATIONS

    The project includes the construction of a 500 kV transmission line, approximately 233.1 km long, in a simple triplet with a bundle of four conductors per phase separated at 1.1 m. The line will be made up of two sections defined by height above sea level, a first section with an altitude less than 1000 meters above sea level that begins at the Carrasco substation, with ACAR 750 MCM type conductor; the second section that continues the line with an altitude between 1000 meters above sea level and 4100 meters above sea level, with an ACAR 1250 MCM driver. The project also includes the expansions of new 500 kV patios at the Carrasco and Santivañez II substations.

    The project will strengthen the electrical transmission in the central section of the SIN, allowing the transmission of the power that will be produced in the current generation plants and those planned for the future, located in the central and eastern areas, to supply the national demand, as well as the electricity market. export.

    500 kV CARRASCO TRANSMISSION LINE – GAPS AND ASSOCIATED SUBSTATIONS

    The project consists of the construction of a 500 kV transmission line of approximately 185 km in length, simple triple with a bundle of four conductors per phase separated at 1.1 m, with ACAR 750 MCM type conductor, which begins at the Carrasco substation , connecting with the Las Brechas substation. It also includes the 500 kV extensions to the Carrasco and Brechas substations.

    This project will strengthen the electrical transmission between the eastern and central areas of the SIN, increasing the power transmission capacity in the system’s backbone network, also allowing surplus generation to be available at the Las Brechas collector node for export.

    230 kV LINE LOS TRONCOS – GUARAYOS – TRINIDAD

    The project that will allow to extend the Interconnected Trunk System to the north of the department of Santa Cruz and to the city of Trinidad of the department of Beni, through new transmission lines in 230 and 115 kV, includes the construction of the 383 transmission line Approximately 30 km long, made up of two sections with two different voltages; The first section of 372.16 km double triple 230 kV that will start in the existing substation Los Troncos 230 kV, will cross the new intermediate substation Guarayos 230 kV and in turn will connect with the new lowering substation called El Paraíso 230/115 kV ; the second section of 11.14 km double triplet at 115 kV, which will continue from the new El Paraíso 230/115 kV step-down substation to the existing Trinidad substation.

    SANTIVAÑEZ – MIZQUE – SEHUENCAS 230 kV LINE

    The project that will allow the SIN to inject the electrical energy to be generated by the Ivirizu project, in the Sehuencas and Juntas Hydroelectric plants, includes the construction of the Santivañez – Mizque – Sehuencas 230 kV line of approximately 174 km, double triplet of two conductors for phase, FLINT 740.8 MCM type conductor in the section that will connect the Santivañez – Mizque substations and PARAKEET 556.5 MCM in the section that will connect the Mizque – Sehuencas substations. It also includes the construction of the new 230 kV Mizque Substation that will have a 21 MVAr Three-phase reactor installed at 230 kV; and lastly, it includes extensions to the Santivañez and Sehuencas substations.

    230 kV LINE UMAPALCA – PALCA (AND REINFORCEMENTS AREA NORTH STI)

    The project that will allow the SIN to inject the electrical energy that will be generated in the Umapalca and Palillada Hydroelectric Plants, contemplates the adaptation of the Santivañez – Palca line, to directly connect the Santivañez and Cumbre substations, through the connection of an existing terna of the Santivañez – Palca line with a new 31 km section of line with a RAIL conductor, to be built from the Palca substation to the Cumbre substation.

    The project also includes the construction of the Umapalca – Palca 230 kV line of 87 km in simple triplet with two conductors per phase, FLINT and PARAKEET, as well as the expansion of the Umapalca 230 kV substation.

    115 kV TARIJA LINE – LA ANGOSTURA

    The project that will allow the connection of the new La Ventolera wind power plant to the SIN, includes the construction of a 115 kV transmission line, with a total length of approximately 44.17 km, with an IBIS 397.5 MCM type conductor, an incomplete double triple section at the exit of the Angostura substation (future exit to Bermejo) and the other single triple section; It also includes the expansion of the Tarija substation and construction of the new La Angostura substation.

    115 kV LINE LA ANGOSTURA – BERMEJO

    The project that will allow the connection of the isolated Bermejo electrical system to the National Interconnected System (SIN) to enable an improvement in the electricity supply conditions of said region, consists of the construction of a simple three-way transmission line of approximately 138 km in length. , in addition to the construction of a 115 kV line bay in the Angostura substation and the construction of the new Bermejo substation with all the respective general facilities.

    SUITABILITY OF THE SECOND TERNA PAYER LINE – SOLAR ORURO IN 115 kV

    The project that will allow the injection to the National Interconnected System (SIN) of the electrical energy generated by the second stage of the Oruro Solar Plant photovoltaic generation project, consists of the installation of a 115 kV line bay in the Pagador substation, as well as the adaptation of the respective transmission line connections, thus making the operation of the second triple of the already installed 115 kV Pagador – Solar Oruro transmission line independent.

    Specialized technical staff from the Substation Maintenance Department of ENDE Transmission S.A. The assembly and execution of Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) to the first 7 single-phase 500kV autotransformers of the Plurinational State of Bolivia were successfully completed.

    ENDE Transmission S.A. has highly specialized technical staff to carry out assembly work for High and Extra High Voltage power transformers and reactors recognized by the main transformer factories worldwide, as well as state-of-the-art electromechanical assembly equipment such as oil treatment plants by thermal vacuum of 10,000 and 6,000 L / h, industrial dry air generators, vacuum pumps of 4,500 and 2,000 m3 / h, mobile tanks of 35,000 and 20,000 liters, cranes of 13 and 4 Tn and a 22m articulated platform hydraulic lift.

    The assembly process is divided into three major activities which must be made up of groups of people and appropriate equipment to carry out said activity.

    In the assembly of the 7 single-phase autotransformers (2 three-phase banks plus reserve equipment) SIEMENS 500 kV, a total volume of 331,100.00 liters has been processed, which represents a new record for a single work site.

    At the conclusion of the assembly, on-site acceptance tests (SAT) were carried out with state-of-the-art measurement and testing instruments that are used by the best electrical companies worldwide. Among the tests carried out are:
    • Dissipation Factor (FP%) and capacitance of windings and insulators.
    • Sweep Frequency Response Analysis (SFRA).
    • Dielectric Frequency Response (DFR).
    • Excitation Current.
    • Leakage reactance (short circuit impedance).
    • Ohmic Resistance of Windings.
    • Transformation relation.
    • Insulation resistance of windings and core.
    • Oil Laboratory: Physicochemical Properties, Analysis of Dissolved Gases and Furan Contents of dielectric oil.
    • Testing of Current Transformers.
    • Test of mechanical protection relays.
